It breaks my heart so much to know that kids get cancer. I wish I could prevent it, but I can't. The reason Sara started Blessing Boxes was an attempt to try to brighten these kids day and put a smile on their face through their battle. I am blessed to have been able to join and temporarily manage such an awesome ministry.

This little boy here has battled Neuroblastoma not just once. He is currently battling Relapsed High Risk Stage IV Neuroblastoma. This kid has not only beat neuroblastoma once, but he is fighting it again. Neuroblastoma is cancer that develops in immature nerve cells mostly in the adrenal glands. Neuroblastoma is a common childhood cancer, sadly.  :( Neuroblastoma can also grow in the abdomen, chest, neck, spine, or anywhere where nerve cells exist. This guy is one of my heroes. He has beat this stupid cancer once before, and I know he will beat it again! Praying for you, and you fight this! You WILL win! <3

This sweet girl is the complete description of a fighter.  This sweet baby is only three, yet she has had several G-tube placements,  and now has a G/J tube! She also has undergone three open heart surgeries! I cannot believe the things this baby has had to endure. A fighter doesn't have to be someone who is older, this sweetie is just starting out in the world and she is conquering it! <3
Here are some pictures of Evie with  her box.

Last week, I had the pleasure of sending two special little boys a sibling Blessing Box. Both of these boys are fighting Cystic Fibrosis. If you do not know what Cystic Fibrosis is, here is a general overview. Cystic Fibrosis is a genetic disorder that affects the lungs, pancreas, liver, kidney, and intestines. Long term effects are difficulty with breathing and frequent lung infections. There is currently no cure for this illness. This illness is not easy to deal with, as it also can cut life short. These two boys are warriors. Everyday they wake up and they fight a battle we can never understand. We are honored that we were able to send these two precious boys a box. <3 God Bless you, Zackery and Christian, and our prayers are with you as you continue to battle Cystic Fibrosis. #CureCF

    Author- Alexis Balch,

I am a sixteen year old history buff with a heart to help. I have two wiener dogs, and my best friend Sara started this foundation. I also have Crohn's disease, which helped me to see what these kids fight everyday.
